You should have arrived here from Tori Blog
This is my offering as part of the blog hop, I used a  brilliant image by Sherri Baldy found

It is called Emily & Emmett Lil Creepy Cutie
When I got this image, my daughter said it's an alien which is why I chose a rocket card, I used a Silhouette Cameo file which I adapted to make a card blank.  I used the flat cut out to layer on the blank.
The image is coloured with pro markers to match the card colours.
The hair was burnt sienna withe walnut highlights.
I used vanilla, saffron and pastel pink for the skin.
I used dusky pink, antique pink an a copic V05 with a little grass.
Emmett is coloured with grass, mint and turquoise.

I printed the image out several times to get all pieces which is one of the great thing about digital images, you can re size them and also import to the silhouette to  create shapes around them.
I covered the window with acetate which really makes the little aliens stand out.
Thanks for hopping with us and have a great day.
Make sure you got to Scrapbook Stamp Society Blog here for the great candy give away.

TIOT Challenge. Fathers Day card or project

Hi All

This is my offering for this weeks challenge, I do hope you will join in, as I enjoying looking at your great creations. This challenge is sponsored by the Craft Barn .
If you click on the picture you will see them in more detail.

This is a Tri Shutter album/ card I have made a lot these both as cards and albums, will put some links to other posts at the bottom if I can.  We did this as a project for stamping class on Friday with Janet and Michelle i had to finish it off on Saturday at the scrapbook group.  I  have added some extra bits designed on the Silhouette or downloads on the Silhouette, as some more dimension

The card used is stampin up 12 by 12 sheets, Janet will be able to tell you where to get the card.  Not sure about the white card.
I used mainly Indigo Blue stamps with a few Tim Holtz stamps.  We inked the card again with matching stampin up inks again Janet's your girl.
It has a lot of cogs and clocks on because my dad was a machine tool engineer and also loved to repair clocks and watches.
We used an embossing folder with a cog design on, on the white card and then inked it in the matching inks.
IF you need the instructions to make the Tri shutter, just put the words in You tube or Google.
.Have a great week.

Mother;s Day Blog Hop

MOTHER'S DAY TEA PARTY 11th MAY BLOG HOP

Good morning everyone

Today we are having a blog hop "Mother's Day tea party"
This is my offering as part of the blog hop, I used a a brilliant image by Sherri Baldy found here

The post is picture heavy.
As it was a mother's day tea party theme I made a tea bag dispenser (silhouette cameo file with a few alterations) I then used the images to decorate the box and filled it with teabags.  The paper is a freebie from a UK magazine. There are several templates on the web for these boxes.  The card is a middle stepper one a standard design, will send any one the details of construction if you need them, just put a message in the comment box.
Close up of images on the box

The card is just covered with matching card, I tried to make it a KISS card (keep it simple sweetie).

Thanks for hopping with us and have a great day.

You need to go onto Debbie's blog to finish the hop.

TioT Challenge On the beach

I managed to mix the DT challenge up again, had a card ready to go before we went away for the weekend to kitty sit, and discovered it was the wrong week.
So it was a quick card,  I had a the side stepper card designed in my designs on the silhouette, so I opened my new pack of stampin up crumb cake card and cut out the shape.  Now for a guilty confession, the image is a stamp by Michel Whittaker (love his pictures) water coloured with aqua markers by Dee not me, so thank you honey. It a KISS card, but I think it could do with something else, I am thinking about it, could be a while.  Our sponsor for this challenge is the
