DT Challenge Handmade on TIOT

The challenge today, is to make a project showing handwriting wow was that a task ( I cannot believe I used to do wedding invitations etc and received training as a Calligrapher, sadly since my illness developed I cannot do it anymore.)

That said I enjoyed giving it a try, but the writing is nothing to write home about hee hee.

I made two, cards in a box, have found a lovely tutorial showing you how to get two cards out of one A4 sheet tutorial here.

I used the stamp set from the creative stamping magazine called Timeless Opulence, I love it, my daughter went yuck until she saw them stamped now she likes them.

I also used a old piece of Stampin up paper both sides and a new Stampin up stamp.

TIOT challenge Travel DT project. A squash book.

The challenge this week is "Travel", which gives you a wide interpretation, do join us in the challenge and check the other design team members at our blog  here

This travel journal is made from three sheets of 12x12 card and decorated with papers from my stash, the cover is covered with printed acetate with map paper underneath.  I have not included instructions as there are lots for squash books on the Internet.  I used  Washi tape on the project, the first time I have used it.
